Most Recent Conference - 2020
Due to the difficulties of holding a conference during a pandemic year, the most recent AJL conference was held digitally from June 28 – July 2, 2020, instead of the original location of Evanston, Illinois. We are pleased that many of the presenters who were scheduled to speak in Evanston participated in the Digital Conference. Plus, one of the many upsides to the digital format is that we would be able to learn from presenters from all over the world, many of whom would not have been able to travel to Evanston even in the best of circumstances. We counted 335 registrants who were able to present interesting sessions, network with each other, and learn together on the Zoom platform, facilitated by the Socio Digital Conference App.
AJL would like to thank all of our conference sponsors: EBSCO, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Jerusalem Books/Geffen Publishing, Kalaniot Books/Endless Mountain Publishing, Kar-Ben Publishing, Eric Chaim Kline, Jo Taylor Marshall, OCLC, OPALS/MediaFlex, Psik Books & Technologies Ltd., Scholar’s Choice, School Library Journal, Dr. Greta Silver, Dan Wyman Books, and Yale University Press.
