LMR ~ Cataloging

The RAS Cataloging Committee maintains a wiki at http://rascat.pbworks.com/ that contains notes and discussion on Hebraica cataloging

Discovering Jewish Studies Collections in Academic Libraries: A Practical Guide by Izabella Taler. ERIC document (ED545384) - By identifying all relevant Library of Congress call numbers and the corresponding Library of Congress subject headings, the guide offers a simplified access to Jewish Studies sources in general library collections.

Hebraica Funnel "This website contains resources that can assist catalogers of materials written in Hebrew script to create Hebraica name records that are added to the LCNAF. It offers an opportunity for institutions that catalog and collection Hebraica materials to participate collectively, ultimately providing better standardized access to these collections. Members may be individual institutions which may otherwise not meet expected NACO contribution levels."
