Our First Seven Institutions
There are hundreds of magnificent Jewish libraries, collections, and archives that can be found in colleges, universities, day schools, community centers, and synagogues. They contain rare books, unique book collections, ephemera, beautiful art, and much more. However, until now there has been no central location where an interested person can learn about the breadth, beauty, and history of these institutions.
With the generous support of the Harris Family Private Foundation, the Association of Jewish Libraries is creating a searchable web portal featuring these treasures. Each participating institution has a page outlining its work, history, and unique collections. Please explore our first seven institutions above.

Promote Your Vital Work
AJL wants to help you promote your work.
We have created a searchable portal for Jewish libraries and collections worldwide. It is prominently featured on our newly designed website devoted to Jewish libraries, archives, and collections. It will be viewed by librarians and the general public as well. It features beautifully designed pages with high-quality photographs, professionally edited video tours, and artfully interspersed informational text for each library or collection.
We will work with you to create a unique page for your AJL affiliated institution at no charge. You provide the materials and we work together to design a page that highlights the unique aspects of your institution. We will also work with you to make sure your page is frequently updated. Please contact Jerry Krautman at AJL to learn more about this exciting partnership.
